I think racist used to mean something like "considers ones race to be superior to others", but now it means "opposes unchecked immigration" or "voted to leave the EU". Or even "thinks the Israeli government has undue influence over the foreign policies of other nations", although the latter case is a special kind of racism, the worst kind.
