The Maemo OS, as a platform, is still young. The iPhone OS is mature, but its been around forever. The Android OS, however, even though its young it has been making improvements by leaps and bounds recently. Plus, none other than the Google itself is baking that shit, and directly integrates all its (admittedly awesome) services.

Next year, WinMo7 will be making an appearance. People who have seen that OS beyond closed doors under NDA's have commented about it using words like "mindblowing" and "unbelievable", so the start of the next decade will be quite interesting in regard to smartphones.
