Some people with the same circumstances as me might say they have been living in poverty. The difference between me and them is that I own my life failures, I don't blame anyone else, I'm not a victim. A lot of poor people think they are victims. They're not. Poop will disagree strongly because he blames society. In the UK, in nearly all cases, I blame the individual. Being poor should only be temporary, unless you're satisfied with the life of being poor.
I do find it funny that me, the guy who only just got a job after a decade of unemployment, is less sympathetic to poor people than the guy who has a nice career and whose tax helps to support poor people. I never moaned about being poor because I always knew what the solution was... to get a fucking job.
