I don't read it every day because I don't want my brain to turn to mush. I do leaf through it from time to time to see what the latest outrage is all about. I also often hear about the latest outrage from third parties referring to the DM.

Oh, and that gas thing is wholly disingenuous. Did he know there was going to be a war between Russia and Ukraine when he said that? You must know how silly a "gotcha" that is.

Did they slash energy bills between Jan. 1 2021 and the start of the RU-UA war? No.

I guess you also missed the bit where they said they could reduce VAT on energy once they were out of the evil EU. Which they could have done while in the EU, and still haven't done anyways.

Also, the Frencies capped fuel rises at 4%. Ours are 54%. So leaving the EU helped us manage our energy prices how? That's the point of the ad, we could do what we wanted if it weren't for the evil EU. Well, now we're out and it hasn't helped us. So another promise turns out to be fos.
