Worse, we're stuck with the stinking, rotting corpse of Ronnie Brown.

sorry, that was lame. I liked Harrison a lot last year. wtf

Gotta feel for Dolphins fans ouch.

It's basically the Indianapolis game (the Rosencopter game) and the Vince Young game (where he won in overtime by running the ball in on 3rd and 8 from midfield) all rolled into one.

    Ouch...

It's hard to complain about the refs costing you a game when you lose 6-3, but dammit, the Hawks win 10-6 without one specific bullshit flag. Leon Washington returned a punt for TD only to have it called for an illegal block in the back. Our guys hand barely touched the Brown on the back as he was already falling forward on his own.

This game looked like a bad high school game. Flags all over the place (mostly deserved) and the most pathetic offensive game by two teams that I think I've ever seen.

"I had respect for Suh before the game," Falcons center Todd McClure(notes) said after the game. "But when Matt was on the ground, the things he was saying and the trash he was talking was definitely uncalled for. There are certain things you don't do. [He said], 'Get the cart' and several other things that I can't repeat."
Receiver Roddy White(notes) agreed. "I lost a whole lot of respect for 90 [Suh] today, and also 92 [Cliff Avril(notes)], the [bleep] they were doing when Matt got hurt. That was unacceptable. … Like 92 was kicking [Ryan's] feet, saying, 'Get him off the field.' We don't do stuff like that. We don't rally over guys when they get hurt. It was just inappropriate behavior. I mean, 'Get the cart'? Are you serious? Come on. When you compete, you never want to see a guy get hurt."

You can groom a QB (hey Tom!), but you can't teach size on the line. So instead, draft capable linemen as big as buildings and then worry about quarterback.

Plus it was a pretty dirty tackle IMO. You can't just throw yourself like that onto the running man's knee

It doesn't matter, he's an injury prone bitch.

Also bikes, I don't care if they're dirty or not, as long as they beat the DOGSHIT out of the opposing QB. It's not like every flag suh gets is a dirty hit. Cutler last year at Ford Field is prime example.

Not saying he doesn't take cheap shots, but seriously. How many DL in the NFL don't? Stop being a narrowsighted dbag and focusing on potentially the most potent DT to play the game in decades. STOP WITH THE HATERADE I SAY!!! Just sit back and watch him own ProBowl caliber C's and G's.

Just more evidence that the Lions are POS players with POS fans. I'm learning to hate you more than Eagles fans. That's a lot of hate. If Suh ever gets injured I'll make a GET THE CART tshirt with his face on it and dance in the streets.

if you hate us less, that'll be depressing.

I am 100% certain that if the Eagles win the Super Bowl with this core team (Vick, Jackson, McCoy, Maclin) they will be easily the most hated team since the triplets Cowboys.

Lots of things looked real good for the Steelers this week. Still unsettling that you really need to put the Pats away because Tom Brady is so good at throwing footballs.

It's pretty tilting to watch Romo and the chick sideline reporter talk about the Cowboys' rookie running backs as if they're a big liability when one of them just ran for 250 yards.

Obviously best performance of season for Eagles. Maybe their best performance in years.

-- Vick played in control and didn't force it. Cowboys were determined to take away Maclin/DJax, so he got the ball to Celek/Avant across the middle.
-- Shady's national coming out party. I've said for a while there's not a back I'd rather have (for this team).
-- Clearly, the O-line deserves a ton of credit when the QB and RB have flawless games. They did a great job on Ratliff. DeMarcus Ware is probably the best defensive player in the game and had little impact despite 4 sacks (two were Vick scrambles for -1). Peters had some huge key blocks early.
-- The defense played great. For the first time in memory, Jason Witten didn't have a huge game. Dez Bryant and Miles Austin were complete nonfactors.

One of the most inexplicable games of the year: Miami 31, KC 3.

Usually when you see a bad team beat a decent team, there's a bunch of wacky turnovers, special teams TDs, etc. But it wasn't the case here. Seems the Dolphins just utterly dominated the line of scrimmage the whole game. Weird stuff.

That holding call on BAL was pretty thin.

I wouldn't worry about Brady. His QBR is 99%, he's on pace for 36 touchdowns. But bad games happen even to great quarterbacks when you're not really well balanced as a team. Instead of going 20 games or so without a bad game, he's down to 6-1 or so.

@Lee, here's a cool statistic about a certain player from the University of Texas at Austin.

Yes, I'm talking about Mr. Phil Dawson

I heard this on the Radio earlier, but apparently he is 8-10 on FGs from the year, 2 were blocked in the SEA game and were completely the fault of the protection, but other than that he's 8-8 and his SHORTEST field goal is from 47 yards away.

    Really? Wow, that's pretty ridiculous.

Eagles season over imo. That was a lot of sturm and drang for nothing.

They need to run the table and 11-5 might not do it because they lose tiebreakers to the Giants, Bears and Falcons.
Playing big pots at small stakes.
