I wasn't sold that Quinn was worth #3 overall, but he's a great value at 22. I don't like giving up your #1 next year to move up... BUT, if you truly think he's worth the #3 overall, then it's a wise move.
This trade pisses me off. Especially since the rest is soo good (addressing important holes). I feel like they're mortgaging the future to win now because Crennel/Savage are on the hotseat. Quinn won ZERO important games in college, he almost cries because he's not a top 5 pick. Is this person going to be successful in the NFL? I say no chance.
If the browns finish 8-8 this may, MAY be a decent trade. If they're 6-10 and Quinn sucks because the line is shaky, and Dallas gets a top 10 pick I'm fucking done with the Browns.
I like the team, but don't like the players as is:
Edwards: hot-headed, talks shit, hasn't performed yet
Winslow: nuff said
Lewis: Dealing cocaine while making millions in the NFL? His thugness was a good fit in Baltimore
Quinn is a punk ass arrogant fuck. Don't like him never will. The Browns will always suck IMO if they keep making stupid picks. As for Smith, kind of glad he went late to take the pressure off of being a first rounder.
