yeah, not bad. you have Nicklaus' "flying elbow" cranking away. not as bad as i've seen. if you want to flatten this out, and i know you know this already, put that towel under your armpit. or, use Percy Boomer's "Turn in a Barrel" drills.

i dont mind how upright you are one bit. when i saw the swing i thought, "and you want to flatten that?" you looked kind of flat to me already. but, it may be the takeaway leading me to see it differently. when i stopped the vid at the top, you were in a pretty good "slot."

and, i cant tell from the vid, but it didnt look like your hands are as quick as i was expecting. i thought you would have more "cock" in your wrists closer to impact. its not too bad, i just thought there'd be more. the vid runs real slow, though, so i had to stop and start to see where your position was near impact. i'm sure you've seen this, too, but if you look at Phil, DL III, Tiger, etc, they are still greater than 90 degrees when their arms are parallel to the ground on the way down. yours are about 90. when Phil, etc get to about their knees, they are still 90 degrees or better. you are already releasing your hands. that's a super bitch to add to the swing, but it will add tons o' yardage. i dont know, however, how far you hit your driver or 5 iron. you may have plenty of length.

ahh, the magic of vids.

as long as we are comparing records, i havent shot 64, but i have carded several 66's. had two 29's. one with a course member (of course that makes it legit).

the other 29 was on a 35. front side very much target golf. very short and full of doglegs and trees. lots of wedges. should have shot 28 or 29 a handful of times, but only did once. the highlight shot...dogleg left about 320, but unreachable because of trees. i tried anyway (after all i was HOT that day). i skullied one right off the tee. didnt even make it 100 yds. i am up against the trees that are solid forest forming the dogleg. i pull out the one-iron, say to myself, "F*** it. i'm going for it." and pull it off. i run about a 230 yd low running hook that hugs the edge of the trees, rolls up between the two front traps perfectly and sits about 4 feet from the cup. i drop the friggin putt for bird. stupidest "hero" shot i ever hit. obviously, neither of my 29's were in competition.

as for the first 29, i never played the back side. didnt have time.

as for the second, talk about your backninechokeaments. i played the back the second day, as i was pretty burned on golf and only playing 9 per day. but, i wanted to "count" it since it looked like an easy shot at what i could say was the "real" course record. i fired the big ole 39. a 29/39!! the course record was quite safe, even in my imagination. lol.

God, i miss golf right now.
