you got my by 2.5ish at my peak. i never got to scratch. i got to .8. i couldnt carry a 5 anymore, though.
for anyone unfamiliar with just how good the plus side is...it sounds like its only 2 strokes better than scratch, but its soooooo much more than that. shaving half a stroke at this level takes the work of shaving 20 off a guy who cant break 100. maybe more.
i have a great friend on the the old Hogan Tour. cant remeber the name currently. when i was under a one, he was just on the plus side, and i couldnt carry his jock on my best day.
true story. he went to Southern Hills after the Open, not PGA, but the Open, and played Monday after the pros finished. he couldnt break 85. he four putted twice. and said he thought the average single digit handicapper couldnt break 90 on that setup.
i'd like to see how you compare with him now. he cant find his way to the big show, but i dont know where you would stand against tour players, either. +2 is really bringing it, but i bet you still have a good bit of work to do to survive even a minitour currently? what do you think, spenda?
