Your right again, i call you a nit and come out looking like a tool . You know, he just cut down the only big tree in his yard because he said the city was complaining that he needed to keep it off the power lines. He then told me he used the last of that money to pay someone to cut it down. dammmit

Easily one of the best bumps ever. Probably ought to be reported for digest.
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than average. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their mistakes

He actually owned the fbi for a while. He told everyone to get into the bank vault, jacked all of their cell phones, and then locked them in and took off. Made a call from one saying he was in the vault with them. Took them several hrs before they realized he wasnt in there, and several more hours to find out where he was.

i'm not sure what the success rate is for bank robberies. success being defined as getting away with it and getting caught.. never.

    it has to be low.

Theres one bank heist that comes on one of the discovery channels every now and then that I love to hate watching. I love it because the plan and execution is almost perfect, but of course they get caught in the end and that always makes me upset. They disable the alarm bell by spraying aerosol insulation in the bell, then climb on the roof at the start of the weekend, cut a whole int he roof, get in the crawl space inbetween the ceiling of the vault and the roof, then use a drill, dynamite and sandbags to create a directed blast through the concrete ceiling. They cut through the exposed rebarb, and then spend the next day or two in the vault taking their time methodically sorting through the contents of safe boxes and whatnot.

It is higher than you think.

Large robberies I believe nearly always get caught, small ones, if you aren't greedy and only strike once in a large geographic area, aren't that hard to get away with... based upon the number of successes in our area.

Why can I reach the end of the thread without gettin horny with all those avatars and stuff. Fuck. Oh yeah, its easier to break into his house and steal the money before he loses it on stupid bets. Besides its not sooo much money. You buy a house and keep betting like that for how long? months?

I've seen quite a few banks go to the "no physical interaction with a bank employee" setup.

You talk to the teller (who's in a completely different room) through a small tv and mic and all transactions are handled through a drive-thru type tube system.

    Seems pretty robbery proof.

    The neighbors...

the lottery-winning truck driving bank robber

    the pedo down the street

and lets not forget trikflow who is pretty freaking epic himself. (arguably, in a better way )

seriously, this is a road straight out of hollywood.
