ok, last post for now
same formation, play is double china.
the Y and B short ins are the routes we like and typically one will be open over the middle.
The tight end corner, while a good route, is kind of worthless without a streak or flat route to pull coverage. a slant out is usually harder to cover anyway. streak him or send him on a slant in and hit him at the snap if he's open.
the RB route is completely worthless. it's ran like 6 yards behind the LOS and a lot of times you'll hit him right in the helmet. the obvious solution is to block him, which I usually do, but you could be creative and send him on an out, or motion him into the slot (underrated tactic, fwiw) and do something with him
X route looks nice, and you can hit him iwth a high bullet before his cut and get a nice animation. the problem is that routes like this just get jumped too easily. would rather just streak him to be honest
