Not really. I have this board and I have two monitors connected to it, via DVI and HDMI with nary a hitch.
It still has displayport and HDMI outs if I would want to connect other monitors, but I'm not sure that there won't be any problems/slowdowns if I connect all 4 outs. Plus I use virtual desktops, so it's not such a big deal.
Of course it all depends on your particular configuration, but onboard graphics should not restrict you to just one monitor though.
