Warpe.. of all people.. you.. a Torygraph reader...

Torygraph = right wing newspaper?
Well, it's often hard to make that sort of statement because the press tends to go after readers rather than represent a particular political agenda. For instance the Sun was notoriously attached to the Conservative (aka Tory) party, so much so that they replaced their usual half-naked "Page 3" bimbo on election day 1992 with a fat granny with the headline "This is what you'll get if you vote labour."
By the time the next election came they had changed allegiance to Labour.
So the papers are aimed at:
Telegraph: Die-hard conservatives
Times: Conservatives who want to read tabloids but dare not
Independent: Left-wing liberals who like to think they're open-minded
Guardian: Socialists who can't spell
The Sun: Morons and people who want a cheap sport or tv magazine
The Mirror: Morons who think they are socialists
The Daily Mail: Morons who think they're better than Sun/Mirror readers
The Express: Morons who can't work out how to cancel a subscription
The Star: Morons who think the Mirror is too right wing.
The Daily Sport: People who like the boobies.
The Financial Times: The sensible choice for right-thinking and smart people.
Hopefully I've offended some of our British members. Huzzah.
Oh, as to OP question:
Don't know, haven't got proper access to the evidence, so feel no desire to speculate, nor to pay equally-ignorant-journalists to feed me their speculation.
