meh... he coulda just kept on keepin on selling millions of records. That lil white girls fan base not liking him is not going to hurt his record sales. Idk.. I just dont really see any motivation for a ego maniac to offer what appeared to be a sincere apology void of any excuses (if he did make any he quickly admitted that it was not an excuse for what he did but only an explanation and that it was wrong for him to let those things cause him to hurt someone else ect ect.) on national tv.
