He seemed fairly stable in the Jena Friedman interview, but his lifestyle really suggest otherwise. Also not a big brain move to dodge your income taxes, which are more than likely a joke to begin with.
He has been known to make outrageous claims and boast about his cyber ninja abilities, but I haven't seen any evidence yet. He was a great character. RIP. I think if the instagram thing was more than just trolling from the grave, he would have shared something more substantial. If he really had something, it's going to come out... he's smart enough not to get Epsteined 2.0 with no backup (who definitely got murdered btw.)
