The act of believing in whatever you want, does not matter if its proven or unproven, should be a universal right.

Imposing beliefs on someone should not be allowed, however. A person should exercise free will to believe whatever he or she wants, and others should not influence this decision (come to my team! we have the best offense!)
Most likely, life experiences, if given enough time, which maybe anywhere between a day to a lifetime, will also shape a persons beliefs.

But, seen in a more realistic way, you are always going to find people who will go out of their way to 'recruit' you. This is wrong, IMO. Also, due to geographic limitations it is entirely possible that any given person hasn't been exposed to a full range of choices. This is also wrong, IMO.

Believing in whatever you believe in is fine. Judging a person for his or her beliefs is retarded however, because this person can also judge you on being retarded because of what you believe in~ and you won't like that, since you're obviously soooo right in whatever you believe. Taking your beliefs to the extreme, such as for example forcing someone else to believe in whatever you do "because it is right/correct/awesomest/ther0xx0r "or whatever is also retarded, for obvious (I hope) reasons.

That said, lets go now for a whole new spin {AKA food for the thought}:
-are we alone in this universe?
-does the universe actually exist?
-are we really alone in this universe if it actually exists? is it ruly that motherfucking big? does that not seem like a huge waste of space?
-is the earth actually 4.5 billion years old?
-Is it true that a star is a sun?
-Is it true that The Sun is a star? Really? 100% Sure about that?
-is it true that The Sun has only (LOL) 5 billion years of hydrogen left? How the fuck do we know that? Are we sure of this?
-What happens when it runs out?
-If, and only if somehow we are not alone, and there are intelligent beings elsewhere, who created those sons of bitches?
-If, and only if somehow we are not alone, and they don't look exactly like us (say they are pure energy entities), and according to the bible god created man in his image, in who's image were they created? and by whom?
-If it can be repeatedly proven the earth is so and so years old, by finding rocks and minerals dating from this age, how come some people argue that we were "put" here about 4 thousand years ago? Were the rocks and minerals "put" here too around the same timeframe? What about the huge time between these two alleged events? How do we know this? Who "put" us? Where is this entity now? Can we trust text that has been translated and retranslated to all languages for over centuries, everyone {potentially} adding their own custom bits and pieces?
-who the fuck is this Dan Brown fella?
