this is pretty much exactly how I feel. When I was in culinary school, the school would host "meet and greets." Which I always found to be really transparent and disturbing. Like... you walk around and talk to a bunch of people, not because you want to talk to them, but because they have something you want (employment and/or internships.) Its like speed dating but worse because the object is monetary, not sexual or emotional.

I used to be like this too, but not anymore really, atleast not atm. I walk around with great confidence (probably unjustified) in lots of different social situations nowadays. If you would have asked me back then, I'd have told you I'm just not up for such things, it isn't for me, etc. Now I have had to change that opinion. I think it has to do with a set of specific skills you need to develop to make social experiences more enjoyable, even the typically awkward ones. Ofcourse everything is always up for change with me. If I have something on my mind that I'm very interested in and want to figure out, I can focus on that to an extreme level and shut out every else, that's something of which I can say it's how I have always been.

Also, I much prefer blondes over readheads personally, even the fake blonde ones. I mean, just look:

Most blondes aren't attractive to me. Especially the fake ones. Now, if they have fair skin that isn't going to look like bacon when they get older because of all the tanning they do - maybe. But - redheads have a special place with me. I mean - look at this.

It's not wanting to do it, not being incapable of doing it.

I could be awesome at just about anything. I could be the best poker player on the planet and make millions, I could write loads of screenplays and get them directed by guys like Cameron and Scott, but I just don't care. I think to myself that even if I cured fucking cancer, I wouldn't feel like that was an accomplishment.
