I think just about everyone has your problems in issue #1: Me wants da monies but don't wants to do shit. This is the same problem I have. What I've tried to do to counteract it is by creating money as my motivation. Here's what happens though: I play poker hardcore for a month, then fuck off for a month because I can.

As for the "not genuinely interested in getting to know any of my professors," be genuinely interested in having one of your professors interested in getting to know you.
