i dont think i live very healthily. when i was in high school i played soccer almost every day of the week and my mom always cooked good healthy meals. the opposite is true for the past 3 years. the only exercise i get is walking around town (which i admit is alot of walking, but not a good exercise regime alone) and almost all of my meals are delivered or eaten at restaurants. after high school i weight about 165, now i weigh about 195.

i need advice on good stuff to eat. for example, i just bought some mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn. yesterday i had some chinese food which consisted of rice and spicy chicken. should any of these be cut out? what common foods cause weight gain?

also i snack alot. i need some good ideas for something i can eat a ton of without it really mattering.

i know these questions' answers arent the solution to the big picture but anything related to this that anyone can post is appreciated.
