Cheap cameras fix this. There's an interesting bit about this in the book Nickel and Dimed where this female journalist goes into a number of low-paying jobs for the story. One of them was a cleaning business like this, and they were instructed to not even cuss aloud when they were in the homes, even if no one was home, because of hidden microphones and cameras being so common. Pretty interesting stuff.EDIT: IDK if it's true, but I'd be more paranoid of getting my stuff stolen if the person coming into my home was only earning minimum wage.
