Football (Soccer) Predictions Competition

We ran this really successfully last season, especially considering I wasn't really sure what I was doing.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's very simple; predict football scores and win cashhhhh (from other forum members, so even better)

Post in here if you're interested. Buy in will be low, like $10, and I think we'll go with weekly prizes again so you'll get plenty of bang for you buck

I might be interested, assuming it's EPL and it has a decent format.

In. Would be nice to have something for an overall winner. Like 12$ for 10 weeks, 1$ towards each week and 2$ for the overall winner.
@pokerking it's 10$ for 10 weeks, so everyone will have a 1$ bet for each week.
@ImSavy it's the English premier league, the one that United will again win this year.

The format is/was:

Each week runs from say monday to sunday, prior to that week starting you predict the scores for all EPL games in that week. You get 3 points for a correct score, 1 point for a correct result but incorrect score, 0 points otherwise.

eg. man utd v liverpool. The score is 3-0. Any predictions of utd to win 3-0 will gain 3 pts. Any predictions of utd to win by any other score line get 1 pt. Any predictions that didn't have utd winning get nothing.

We pay out for the highest score each week and the highest score at the end of the season, although we usually run it for half a season ata time, so say 10 weeks, as someone said already.

If there was interest in other leagues I could look at adding one or two big foreign matches each weekend, e.g. PSV v Feyenoord, Barca v Real Madrid, Inter v Juve, etc

What rong said. 3 points for a correct score, 1 point for a correct result, last season we just did Premier League matches. $20 to enter for say 13 weeks would take us to the beginning of December. If 10 people entered we could have $12 for the weekly winner and a top prize of $50 for example. If we could get to 20 prizes would be pretty considerable, easily could be $20 weekly prize then $100 for 1st and $40 for 2nd overall

Would be nice to have a prize for overall winner, so 15$ 10weeks, 1$/week + 5 for overall, or 20$ 15 weeks with 1$/w + 5 + overall
