Ok, I'm just going to put this out there-

Since FTP is still up for non-US players (supposedly), would be possible for US players to just get an offshore bank account, and then connect to FTP through a proxy? I know in the menu of the .NET client, under the 'Security' menu, in 'Network Options', it gives you the option to use your system's proxy configuration.

Has anyone tried this or know if i works?
