    Default Epic (Hockey) Game Alert {edited with U.S. stream link}

    Canada vs. USA, World Juniors (U20) semifinals game. Puck drops in.... now

    Last year: USA won 5-4 in OT to claim the Gold with a win over Canada... This after Canada scored 2 goals late to tie the score.

    Lots of bad blood... And we all saw what happened at the Olympics.

    Oh snap almost forgot about this, thanks for the reminder.

    It's the semi-finals game but it will pretty much determine who wins the gold.

    Is it some regional restriction thing? God I hate those, usually (being from Canada) I am on the wrong end of them.

    Well.. Seems I may have oversold this a little bit. The game's been dominated by Canada thus far. After two periods, they lead 3-0. Must be pretty quiet in the U.S. dressing room after the 2nd. I seriously just don't understand how you can prepare yourself for this tournament - and this game, especially - for so long, and then absolutely not even show up.

    At last check the shots were 27-12 for Canada. A telling stat.

    Unless something really inspiring goes down in the 3rd, this game will have been an absolute slaughter.

    Canada tried to coast on their 3-0 lead All tournament long the Russians made some insane comebacks. I didn't see their shootout win over Sweden, but from the result I was discounting their abilities too. The Russians played a better game and deserved the win IMO.
