    Lol, didn't know you meant "cool guy wave". I mostly stopped doing that years ago unless it seemed appropriate, which is rare to me. Usually I'll just give a nod and move on. Living in socal you can literally pass by hundreds of other bikes on sunday and the whole thing just gets old. But no, it has nothing to do with the type of bike a rider's on, to me it has more to do with the rider.

    I've ridden a lot of different bikes over the years and a lot of them on the same roads and can tell you from experience that it works both ways. Sportbike riders will "lowhand" me more often if I'm on a sportbike than if I'm on a Harley and I've actually had a group of them flip me off for waving at them, so I think it's a standard cheerleader click type of thing on both sides of the spectrum. Honestly I just like riding motorcycles and could care less about all that shit.
