There could certainly be some conflict here, I've had some horrible battles between Snoopfree and other security software in the past.

As an experiment you should uninstall all security software except for Avira and get hold of Comodo's free firewall - that performs all the functions of Zone Alarm and Snoopfree with a free sandbox thrown in.
