Connecting laptop to LCD tv

Hey guys. I got the Video connection working, i think my other VGA cord wasn't working.

So I get the video on the big screen, but the audio is still coming out from the shitty little laptop speakers.

I connected the R&W RCA cables into the back of my TV, in the "PC input" spot (so i think thats right) .. so now where do i stick these two cables into my laptop? And will i need to change settings on my laptop to have the sound routed to the tv speakers?

You need to connect the two with a plug like headphone to headphone (err, that might not even work). I'm using PC speakers, not sure why off the top of my head.

I think you'd need a sound card with an optical output to do it right.
