It's tougher for sure and for some reason I dont have the same addiction to this game that I had to MW2. I think it will take a lot more skill to be good at this game than previous Call of Duty games.

Here's my take on the game:

 Pros:
-Scavenger doesn't replentish claymores or grenade launchers

 -No One Man Army

-No Juggernaut/Painkiller/Commando (yes it did add a slight health increase) or anything else to help you stay alive

-No stopping power or danger close to drop enemies quicker

-The guns actually have recoil, so it comes down to who has better control and accuracy

-Treyarch has completely eliminated the need for public lobby boosting with the CoD points system

-Personal customization on everything is pretty cool I guess

 -Modded controllers don't work

 Cons:
-The maps are built for close quarters fighting, and when everything is around a corner with no direct line of sight, it's obviously going to promote camping (which is why Invasion/Skidrow etc were my least favorite maps on MW2 as opposed to Wasteland/Highrise)

-The graphics don't seem to be as fluid as MW2's

-Even post update sound whoring is pretty pointless and makes the $90 Triton's I bought obsolete (I'm like a bat, I hunt with my ears and getting knifed in the back by a guy who doesn't have Ninja on is pretty annoying)

-I was never a big sniper, but what they did to sniping and sniper rifles in this game is just terrible

It's just like every other CoD game, where it does have it's strengths and it's flaws, but I can guarantee even when superior perk/weapon setups (i.e. UMP w/ Marathon/Stopping Power) this game will be ten fold less annoying than MW2.
