I guess I've been overlooking that one because I've been burned by highly stylized platformers too many times before. But also some of my favorite games of the past have been highly stylized platformers.

I've been playing VRchat for a couple of hours and it's amazing. It's laissaiz-faire role playing so it's kind of hit and miss, but I was surprised by the depth people have been creating on their own. Everyone should try it. It's free, it's on Steam and you really don't need a VR headset to play it. In the short time I've played it: me and Morty tried to help a guy find more balls. I joined a cult, took part in a mass suicide and had an interesting chat about character creation in Blender with a sack of potatoes.
Highly recommended!
