Path of Exile is free to play. That and it being based on Diablo 2 (which I loved) is why I started it. Got hooked pretty quickly.

I like the company's business model too. It's creative. You don't have to spend any money in order to beat it, and spending money is simply a time-energy saver or for aesthetics instead of making your character more powerful. The game's most hardcore players have spent thousands. I've spent like 30 for a few stash tabs that make life easier.

For the past couple of days I've been trying to figure out what games I can get from the sale that I'm most likely to play at some point. So far my list is: Bayonetta, Skullgirls, Superflight and Quadrilateral Cowboy. Probably booting QC.
