when i go on my periods of actual grinding, i usually 12 table 6max. it sounds impressive, but with years of online multitabling experience, a big monitor (or in my case, 3, but all of the tables go on the 30'), bet pot script, and a little bit of concentration, it's reallly not all that hard. i've done 16 at times before but it's a bit out of my comfort range and i think around 12 or so is about my limit before it starts seriously affecting my play, although in no way am i claiming that i can play as well on 12 tables as i can on 4, but the difference is not as significant as some would make you believe.
What exactly is it you do anyway? I know you used to beat 200NL handily, but then you moved up to high stakes and stop posting anything remotely poker related. You can't possibly 12 table 5/10 can you? Do you just sneak in, grind 200NL hardcore for a week then take off?
