gaaaah!! quit poisoning my op with talk about business school... jeez, fuck sake. That's like garlic to a hammer horror vampire.
let's just take the excellent point made and keep it poker oriented. Play for the love of playing. Good concept.
Robb made a good post on the BRM for folk with balls, that he would just keeeep on going through a stake until he felt very comfortable and could multi-table, go all-in when necessary, bluff when necessary etc. all having fun and earning well. As opposed to being on scared money. I have fun when i drop down, so it's interesting to note. Get more than rolled and have some poker enjoyment where you're not constantly BR watching.
*say like william shatner* The whole point of poker, for me, is the dream of the lifestyle. Earning money from home and having the potential to get stuck into a casino game with a wad of confidence. Vegas, and all the greats who have played there. The promise of glory.
*record scratch* NOT. Office work. Besides, i'm an artist, my earning potential is sheeeit. But i digress.
Yeah, stacks, i guess that's about right, let's see here...
2nl - beat in about 10k hands
5nl - beat in about 15k hands
10nl - currently 7.5k hands in but got a LONG way to go. 26 buy ins left to grind @ about 2 a week if that.
UPDATE
Current BR = $345
WR = 3.41 BB/100
Graph - total hands. Mixture of 2, 5 and 10:

Graph - just 10:

After playing today i feel like i'm slowly getting some confidence at this stake. I owe it mainly to folding. Decided to throw away so much shit, stop limping in small blind. Stop open limping. Just get the fuck rid of it. And also, if i can't continue with confidence, i tend to also throw my cards away. This is probably sub optimal but is still good for beating the stake until i gain more experience of those tricky spots.
Latest insights have come from links in Robb's op. There's so much on FTR it's unreal. Anyway, let's get constructive here people. Only about two buy-ins away from finishing this op.
