47 on the flat is pretty damn impressive. What kind of bike?
I don't think I can crack 40 on the flat with back wind and dogs chasing me.

75 downhill was the fastest I've ever gone, and I was 12 or 13 at the time. And it was on a $100, 50 pound mountain bike I had build with my dad a couple of days earlier. I'm not looking to ever break that without a steel shell around me ever.

And about the poker: have you tried cutting down the number of tables, and taking breaks and actively table selecting and stuff?
You understand the game, and you're not dumb. There's no reason why you shouldn't have a 5ptbb-ish winrate. I just think you're missing tons of v-bet spots, routine bluffing opportunities and obvious iso spots. I've seen you check back back spots with TP hands against mega feeeush that made me want to scream. Sometimes I did scream.
I don't think putting in lots of study time will do so much for you. Put in 4-tabling time and really think about how to get the most value. Your nit muscle memory will keep biting you in the ass when you mass multi-table no matter how much you study.

it's a crappy old fully rigid mountain bike. I finally managed to crack 50 on the flat - tail wind and i heard a dog somewhere...

yeah, i'm playing way fewer tables now, varying it between 6 and 13 depending on game (plo/holdem) and style (fr/6max). Your comment about river play is interesting - i've faced a few more check-raises on the river as a consequence, but also got a bunch more value - CHEERS!!!!

also, games have been looking good at 50nl recently. wow. Ima posting some hands to show just how good - all from the last few days. The bad beats are whatever, indication of high game quality imo... I'm up over the few days, and will be way more up if i ever start to run even average in allin spots.
