100% agree with your micro statement. I just started a rebuild myself for reasons we won't get into. Everytime I start to overthink and "play poker" with these tards i get into large pots with no FE and a station that can't fold TT on a J62r, K turn, Q river for 100BB pots. When I 8 table, play very tight positionally, and aggressive, fold to anything that resembles a raise it's "easy game". We tend to think that after winning a ton of pots with no showdown, we talk ourselves into believing that we can play light vs these flop and turn raises, or preflop limp/3bets, because they have decided to play back. In reality, they waited for a hand, and would fold again if they didn't have one, stating "when I get a hand, I will stomp this aggro monkey."
Baluga said it best when talking about SSNL:
(1) GET VALUE!
(2) Don't bluff.
(3) Don't pay off.
easy game.
