It really depends on what you are looking to do. For just regular health a good multi vitamin should cover most of what you need. Right now I am trying "Athletic Greens" which is basically just a powdered form of a multi-vitamin except everything comes from whole foods [not the store] so that your body is able to absorb it better. Ill give my opinion on how that goes after a month or so of it, but I mean something like that cant be bad.

The most thorough way to figure out what you need would be to get a blood test for your nutritional levels, that way you can see what deficiencies you have. It sounds somewhat intense, but it really shouldnt be at all. Ideally youd be able to make up the deficiencies through your diet, but if that isnt possible, then you will have a really good idea of what supplements to take. Im planning on doing this if I end up going back to Thailand and taking nutrition more seriously.

If you are weight training then there is a lot more to it. A lot of people go pretty crazy with a bunch of different supplements for this, and while there is merit to that, I think if people keep it simple and have a good diet they will see good results. If you want to get stronger and are working out regularly I would say the main ones to get are creatine and glutamine and then just use whey protein in your diet to make sure you are getting enough.

Im not really an expert on the subject and while Im in ok shape dont really have the personal experience to claim to be one either, but have read a lot and am confident in these suggestions.

Basically if you are weight training, it is hard to go wrong with a multi-vitamin, creatine, glutamine, and whey protein. You can mix the creatine and glutamine into one of your protein shakes, so you really are only taking 1 pill a day.

If you want to get more serious about nutritional stuff, there is a lot you can do but that is all really catered towards your specific body, you dont really want to just start supplementing a bunch of nutrients without knowing your own levels.
