Pretty meh start to february. In first 10 minutes I lost AA<AK, QQ<JJ and AKs<QQ all at 2/4. So yeah, was down 1.6k before I could blink, I then beared down, grinded it all the way back to breakeven, only to make a few bad spews to drop 600$. Pretty annoying. My two biggest mistakes were pussying out on firing the 3rd barrel in 2 big spots at 2/4 and then trying to rep a rivered backdoor flush in a 3-bet pot versus a reg who was obviously strong (he had top set and timebanked it hard lol). Fkn nits.

Gonna put in some tourneys tonight and hope I bink something. I also went and visited the condo that I want to buy today, and the one I would ideally want is 260K plus all the taxes/expenses that come with it. So yeah, lots of grinding to do this month, off I go!

Volume isn't great, but still put in 1.5k hands today for +1k. I played 80% NL400 and what's interesting is that I can tell these regs aren't used to players who are willing to push any edge preflop, i.e. 4-bet bluff and 4-bet stack off light. So they're not doing a great job adjusting.


I had been 4-betting just under 20% when 3-bet (high for these uber passive euro grinders) and I finally got some nits to spew.
