I'm no expert on pokerEV, but I think this is wrong. Running above expectation means that you are just running good. Let me explain. If you get all your money in PF with AA against KK, you are an ~80% favorite to win, so in a theoretical $100 pot, you win $80 Sklansky bucks. If you win, you are $20 above equity, hence, running good, but if you lose, you'll be $80 below equity and running bad! So if, as you said, you were cooling everybody, you were probably getting your money in good and winning mostly, which means you would obviously be running above expectation. At a hand-for-hand basis, you cannot run "At expectation", unless all your betting is done on the river... Does that make sense?
