You got the max out of villain, that's all that matters. This is not one of those 'results oriented' posts either.
Only check the flop if villains behind you are aggressive. This was a great spot to do so. HERO call btw.... but it was a standard bluff line: everyone shows weakness on flop so position bets. turn: guy in position says: "fuck i got caught, check." river: "the only way i win this hand is by betting... bet" "hero call" "Fuck!"
