Interesting that he called the river bet when flush draws could have completed. The line I took on the river was bet fold fully expecting flushes to reraise me but hoping to take the pot there and then. I think check behind would have been the less spewy option though I'd never have known if he'd folded to the bet.

villain was 23/20/4 over 54 hands. Was thinking that if I hit my diamond or possibly another Q or a K may be good when I called the 4$. With the nut flush draw on the flop should I have just shoved? as it was with the cards as they were I had 24% equity : against a range of 22+,A2s+,KTs+,QJs,JTs,T9s,98s,87s,7d6d,65s,54s,43s ,A9o+,KJo+ it was roughly a coin flip on the flop.

felt bad about cutting and running so played another orbit . Play on villains part was questionable .I could easily have been on an over pair or better on the flop and therefore they as far as they could tell they were potentially just on 5 outs or less.
