Have you thought about moving to a site you can mine?

Do you do any study from articles? I printed about ten of my favourite FTR articles, and for each of them I'm going and sitting down with a pen and paper and playing through the ideas being described. I think that this (i.e. taking notes) is one of the best ways to improve.

as for poker videos! I've watched a couple of the FTR ones and one from a 2+2 reg guy I play against a bunch to help me exploit him. Sometime I'll get around to watching more, maybe. Dunno, i haven't read a book yet either, I think there are resources enough here and elsewhere. But videos definitely do help people with some concepts - I play Full Tilt and it seems as though all the other regs have gone and used their fpps to join cardrunners. It sucks. I think that the cardrunners thing is the worst thing to happen to the game quality on FT. I never used to get 3-bet, nobody used to defend their blinds, people barely ever floated, overpairs never folded. And this was only two months ago...
