Last night I played, for me, a long session, mostly on 3 tables. I think I played about 300-350 hands which is the most ever for me...
I wont quit multi-tabling.
I had great cards at the start but didnt get paid too well for them but just kept winning small pots...which is fine.
After the initial run I went brutally dead, and it was too bad b/c 2 tables had some total maniacs on board that never folded. That happens. I had to switch tables a lot. I would find a high$/hand table and slowly it would just slow to a crawl. I dont know how many times I switched.
In the middle stage I was just getting bled...I would raise with good cards and 2-3 stations would call and I couldnt hit. I dont like cbetting against 3 stations and these were passive stations. They didnt bet unless they hit something on the flop so I had to shut things down.
I kept my cool and just waited. Finally I was able to check (was in the BB) with a K7. Flop came Q77 and the biggest maniac staion was in town so I didnt slowplay I just fired out hoping he had hit his queen. He called me, so I fired again almost pot sized. He called again. On river I fired, he min raised and I reraised, he min-reraised and I shoved.
He had something stupid like a Q4 and of course my trip 7's w/K kick totally mangled him.
I just love these players. I had hardly palyed a pot and I keep firing out, what else am I going to have? Will I have a worse Q?
Not even when I was a beginner did I call down like that.
So I ended up in the positive side for about 20 big blinds, I'm happy considering the mess I had on my hands leading up to it.
