Sucky. I just reformatted my laptop because it was playing up (no viruses just going funny). I'm not sure of prices, but since all you need is the PC and not the peripherals you should be able to get an entry level PC for 300 I'd have thought.
Dunno what it would cost to get it reformatted, but you're at Uni man. Find a computer nerd to do it for you, there should be heaps around just waiting for someone to be their friend.
45 hand is an interesting one. I probably just flat flop, but to be honest just folding isnt a terrible option. I mean he's completed SB and minbet flop. We have no reason to believe we have much in the way of implied odds here (if he's on pure steal we likely dont get any more money if we hit on turn). Raising seems bad, you're manipulating his range here and not in a good way.
Sounds like you need to focus a bit more, maybe it was trying to 4-table. Just 2-table with me! Treat as a learning exercise and get the most out of it.
Interesting thoughts on fish 3-bet ranges. I've never really been in a position where I've lead the charge on 3-betting so havent experienced this before, makes sense though. Hell, it explains some of the weird hands people 3-bet (or call 3-bets with).
