if you do that... you have to take away cards that dont help you too. so your chances of hitting less outs would go up. you have to just go with all the cards you havent seen as remaining cards to get the right odds

If you were afraid that he may have flopped a flush as well i think you have to decide on the flop whether you are going to play for stacks. As played, you get maximum value from worse hands so the line was good but i think it was for the wrong reason.
yeah, i agree with this... i think i was basically playing for stacks, but for some reason just had a bad feeling on the flop.
