Default Operation: Don't be a Triangle yo

I've started one or two of these operation threads and never updated them, but this one is gonna be different, i promise!

I'm just back playing poker again after a break, just 100nl atm.

Before my big leak was simply not being aggressive enough in pots and i had a ev graph similiar to Fgators with the green line way below the other two.

So I started the month with some simple goals:

    1.Get my Won$ WSF% up
2.Break even in non showdown pots
    3.30k hands
    4.4k profit

1.My Won$ WSF% used to be about 37/38 which sucks, i hope to get it up to about 45%+ by the end of the month, it's about 44 atm.

2.I was losing about 7/8bbs/100 in non showdown pots, atm it's down to about 2bb/100, and was breakeven as some points.

3+4, pretty simple, play some hands and make some monez.

I posted up my results for the month up to the night before last on my other blog

Unfortunately, last night was horrible and I ran pretty bad, dropping 4buyins in 1k hands to a series of beats and coolers, hopefully it's just a blip.

Anyway, here's a graph so far:

Up til last night I had been during way better in all my non showdown pots and stuff, hopfully i can bounce back from that session and continue the good work!

24/1/.22, really weird player, just limped called loads, doesn't vb at all. just really passive, checking behind with hands that were clearly best on the river after calling down, calling with all draws, not betting at all. I had only played with him for about 50 hands before the hand tho.doubled up when he raised jj and an idiot shoved.

I think i probably should probably shove here in general, not really sure tho.

0.50/1.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter (http://www.talking-poker.com/hands/converter.aspx) at Talking-Poker (http://www.talking-poker.com)

    Button ($95.50)
    SB ($160.51)
    BB ($178.20)
    UTG ($101.90)

Preflop: , 2 folds, SB calls 0.50, BB checks.

    Flop (2.00) 4h 7h 5c
SB bets 3.00, BB raises to 8.00, SB calls 5.00.

    Turn (18.00) Ts
SB checks, BB bets 14.00, SB calls 14.00.

    River (46.00) Js
SB checks, BB bets 33.00, SB raises to 66.00, BB calls 33.00

    BB shows 7c 7s
    SB shows Tc Th

SB wins 178.00 with Three of a kind, Ten's

I like how you keep your stats super secret! Wouldn't want any low-stakes vultures hunting you down and exploting you.
    <SrslySirius> Hal Lubarsky, my nemesis.
<SaltLick> are you seriously losing to a blind guy

lol, nah i just post a lot on another forum where just about everybody plays on the same site, so i'm jsut trying my best to keep my sn secret. not a big deal really.

    Graph so far this month:

More interesting is when i filter to pots between 0-30bbs

I think at the start of the month I was far more disciplined, but i got lazy played more tables and really really spewed in the pots, mostly in really simple spots where i raise say 89s, flop is Q8sxs I fire one bet, check the turn he bets half pot, i sort of hmm and haw, i could have the best hand maybe, so i call another bet, he bets the river and i fold.

And i do that over and over and over, just really stupid stuff like that in smallish pots, and i just don't realise how much i'm losing until i look at a graph like above.

Anyway I was thinking about all of this before having a look through the forum when i came across this post which sums up my problem pretty good.

I mean I'll make it pretty simple for you, essentially every time you check at the stakes you play where you aren't planning to raise you should fold to a bet. Yes, there are rare scenarios versus the players you play where this isn't the case, but very very rarely.
So for the next few days I'm going to pretty much sticking to b/f, b/c or c/f and I would be really really surprised if i don't see an improvement in my results.

On a different not, a thing I've noticed on this particular site is that no one gets it in pf with less than aa/kk/ak for 100bbs, one guy made fun of me the other night when i cracked his aa with aqs aipf saying that he has ak 85% of the time there!

People do 3bet a decent amount however, so i've started 4betting like a crazed monkey with pretty good results.

Basically I open to 4 with 89s, 20/15 guy in the co makes it 14, I 4bet to about 34 or so, and they fold like always.

It gives me a crazy image, people are less inclined to 3bet me light or defend against steals, and I think it's going to be a long time before anyone adjusts by doing anything other than 3betting me less.

    That's it for now.

I was talking to a friend on msn said he was planning to play the $22 deepstacked on stars, so i decided to give it a go to and have a last longer bet.

Currently I'm chip leader on 180k, with 35 left. 2.3k for first.

pity about this hand, I'd have a huge lead if i'd taken this down/

That tournament worked out to be quite beneficial to me, at the time I wasn't in the mood for playing cash and just concentrated on the one tourney table, and i realised just how much info I'm missing when i play 345656454293 tables, surf the internets and talk to people on msn .

so i've cut down to 6tables, pay way more attention to what I'm doing, try to write as many notes as possible. and I'm doing way better as a result.

in other news I got a new sn

I played like such a tard tonight but still ran at 5bb/100.

small sample but i've improved how I'm doing in pots<30bbs.

w/o showdown is down to 2bbs/100, happy enough with how everything's going in general. just sucks that the dollar keeps devaluing.
  16. #16
tonight was pretty meh, ran at 3bb/100, losing a 260bbs pot vs a fish with top set was kinda ghey.

anyho, I was looking at my ev graph and turns out I actually lost money at showdown, but finished up for the night as i won lots of $$$ w/o showdown, which is a bit of turnaround. feel like I'm playing goot atm, and will move up when the br allows.

I'm also organised some coaching this week with an awesome poster from another forum I read. should be goot!

This is my graph since i got my new account on sat, happy enough with it, esp. since i'm almost breakeven w/o showdown.

    ty sir!

So I started the month with some simple goals:

    1.Get my Won$ WSF% up

    1. 37%->41%, still some more improvement to be had.

2.Break even in non showdown pots

    2. Not so much in the early part of the month, but in the last week I've done quite well in this area.

    3.30k hands

    3. yup

    4.4k profit

    4.
    $450 on my old account,
$1450 in the last week on my new one.
    $1300 or so in RB+bonuses
    $500 in the donkament
$100 from omaha. (I had been doing a lot better but tilt across 6 tables = )

My first week was great, in the second and third week of the month I was a small loser, I certainly wasn't playing my best although it didn't help i was running a bit below expectation.

Fortunately I put in a pretty good week to finsh off the month:

I'm playing a lot tighter than usual, but it seems to be working out quite well for me, so I'm gonna stick with it, ldo!

I feel like I'm improved tremendously this month in a number of areas, I''m gonna stick with getting the coaching though and the plan is to play 100nl for this week, and barring any major mishap hit 200nl after that. certainly looking forward to it!

I'm going to record a video for one of the guys I'm getting coaching off, and also another one for a ipoker regs forum I set up. I'll probably put at least one of them here. Just gotta get a mic.

    December Goal:

    30k of 200nl running at 4bb/100

just dropped 5 buyins on super mega monkey tilt in about 200 hands.

it only ended due to a sick 3bet pot, where at showdown i came close to throwing the laptop out the window, just pulled out the power instead.

    so sick.

    great start to the month.

Had a decent night tonight, not really sure how much I'm up as I'm trying to make an effort to stop looking at how I'm doing all the time and letting it affect my play.

This was a fun had, although I don't like how i played it before the river. on the river I timed down and tried to make it look like i was bluffing with a missed draw or something

someone actually looked at this thing

haha, yeah, i guess it was worth playing.

    UPDATE!

This is my 200nl graph this month, so much for 30k hand... basically after my tilt session i had to play 100nl a bit longer than planned, and i haven't been putting in a whole lot of hands the last couple of days.

I actually went out and played live last night, i got a text from a local casino about a tournament that looked likely to get an overlay so I decided to give it a go and play cash afterwards. The standard was truly awful, even so i still didn't cash

early on the play was truly bizarre, and towards the end people were doing stuff like limp folding ace rag, one guy was constantly limp folding with a stack of less than 10bbs. two tables out, the blinds went up (the tournament was a ridiculous crapshoot), people are limping and stuff, but no one's happy to put their tourny life on the line, the avg was about 10-12bbs, I had about 8bbs and decided that I'm going to open shove every hand from now on, 6 handed utg+2 96s ship ship, unfortunately i run into aks and 1010, hands are turned over and over looks at with me wondering wtf i was at, lol.

Anyway, that started at nine, i busted out about half eleven or so, jumped into the cash game and played til closing at 5:30. it was just a change from grinding online, knew a few people in the game and had a good bit of banter so it was good fun, and i finished up €300 for my efforts.

one sweet hand was where i had kq on a kk10 board in a limped pot, got the standard 4 callers for €10 on the flop, turn was a Q, i bet €40, one caller, river is a 10, i bet €110 into a €130 pot and he snapped with his kx for the split!

It's well over a year since i played seriously in that place and I've improved tremendously since then, not that that was too difficult, i mean i was really awful at the time, but was a decent winner just by playing tight. but everyone else there plays exactly the same as before, they play in this casino a couple of nights a week and don't for a second stop and think about wtf they're doing. still calling with crap oop, peeling flops with any pair any draw, such bollix. it's actually sad to see tbh, how can you do something for so many hundreds of hours and spend so much money on it, and yet not put one iota of effort into improving.

    anyway, rant over.

Tonight i decided to move up to 200nl for good, before than I'd been putting it off a bit, which was silly tbh, it's just a easy as 100nl, just a few more tags, less fish and a bit more aggressive, but still very beatable.

Tonight I only put in 900 hands as i wasn't really in the mood for playing, finished up $400, the other 200 hands are from a couple of days ago. I'll probably wont even put in 20k at it for the month, I'll post a graph at the end anyway.

This is, 100% without a doubt, the most baffling aspect of live poker for me. There are regulars in town who are doing the exact same thing they did two years ago when I started. And I sometimes wonder whether anyone would ever improve if there was a holy law against discussing hands and strategy at the tables. I truly believe that the only reason longtime losers make an effort to change is when they get berated after sucking out or something.

Ultimately, if you play live cash for any extended period of time you see people and things that will just make you sad. You go in the emporium these days and you see the likes of the Chief or Norman now broke (and clearly depressed) essentially because they never bothered to change. The thoughts of ending up like that make me shudder.

I played some spewing hands so decided to take a break tonight after 400 hands, up $250, but should be more, anyway, i'm taking this time to write an update.

The first day i played after updating this i put in a decent session of 1700 for a return of $33 or so, I actually think i played really good during this session, my only mistake was bet folding a river for $70 when i should have just c/f, what ruined the day was losing a flip with qq and losing with aa vs ak ai on a kxx flop.

I found that hand somewhat refreshing in that i just shrugged my shoulders and carried on, last time i played 200nl a couple of months ago the bigger stakes affected me a little.

I haven't really felt like playing much so haven't got many hands in, at least when i do play tho i make twice much money than at 100nl!

I think (depsite what the graphs say) I'm running a little hot, i seem to be getting aa/kk/sets way more than what's normal, and I'm getting paid off by fish (I'm super nitty about table selection) very easily. There's also the thought that maybe I'm probably -ev vs most of the regs at this level and I'm only making money by running good against the fish, I'll play some more hands and see how it goes.

  29. #29
I think playing pretty solid, just looking at my 5biggest losing pots at 200nl, one was a beat, 2 flips, all fine, the aq was a bit spewy even tho the guy was a tard i should fold when he makes it 60, it was because of this hand i took the break.

with the regard to the 1010 one, i dunno, he probably has a flush the almost always, but i couldn't fold to the min raise, and i though calling and folding to a non boarding pair river to $50 wouldn't be right in the off-chance that he could have been doing something stupid like a bluff/misclick/slow played set or something. meh.

i guess there's a few factors that contribute to it (just a warning this is in not in any way insightful but w/e), they don't analyse anything they do, they call for their draw miss and put it down to being unlucky, moan for a bit and then move on to the next hand without thinking about whether what they did was correct.

the great thing about poker is that you can do the wrong thing and still win (in the short term only obv, which is possibly months live) so you have people like the chief playing fundamentally unsound poker but winning due to running hot and since obv. winning=doing the right thing, plus the fact remember all the times they hit, and not the times they miss, it adds up to these people not realising they're so bad.

plus at 25hands per hour they just don't notice i guess.

heh, my friend rang me up the other day in the morning and invited me out on a all day/all night session (explains the lack of hands!), and my first thought was "hmmm, but i really wanna play some more 200nl", which is probably a bit unhealthy, so i went out and did some drugs and alcohol and it was all good.

I've actually cut down on the time i spend on poker+poker related activities and feel alot better for it and am probably playing better as a result too. it's pretty cool to play for less than 2hours make $300 and then fuck around for the next 48 hours with some equally uncommitted friends. it's great.

ugh, played like a fucking twat to start off tonight, dropped about 500+ due to utter stupidity.

managed to get out of it thankfully:

    ugh I'm wrecked.

    stats so far for 200nl:

i covered the stats because I'm embarrassed about how nitty i'm playing atm, lol. it's only til i get more used to the stakes i promise!

played 450ish hands, was up $500, lost a pot, shrugged and quit for the day up $460ish. I'm so lazy.
  34. #34
I'm playing 200nl about a week or so now, and i just passed the 2k mark \o/

  35. #35
Didn't play much this week, and when i did it was below par, finished up about breakeven, probably ran a little below expectation but it was mainly down to me playing like a moron.

tonight on the other hand went well:

i was sick for a few days over christmas (such a beat) but it left me with loads of time to think about poker, plus i've started reading a bit more strat and i've thought a lot about leaks i have and stuff I'm doing wrong. I'm quite excited in a way, but at the same time a little overwhelmed.

every time i learn something new about poker, or realise something i just realise how much more there is to learn, part of me almost wants to just give up! i really think i could do quite well at poker if i put a bit of effort in.

just even about simple things, for example in jmans's well (good read obv ) he talks about his main weaknesses, bit weird but everything he talked about is exactly the same with me (i much rather share his strengths than his weaknesses tho!), it took me a long time to push myself into be more aggressive in general, and stop thinking of the worst senerio all the time and how that card could have hit him etc etc. i still have a long way to go, but i've been doing a lot better as a result of not being so nitty and indecisive all the time.

another thing i was lacking, was the backdoor aggression that aejones talked about in his recent thread, i've long thought i was a way too straightforward exploitable opponent, and it's something i really need to work on unless i wanna spend my life playing ssnl.

these are just tired ramblings at this stage so i'm gonna leave it til tomorrow. btw merry christmas happy new year and all that!
  36. #36
I made a guess i was up just short of 5k for the month, so i sat down to grind the last bit. got coolered a few times at the start but won the cash back, then lost a couple of stacks and went on tilt and went from +100 to -900 for the night. I was so angry at myself for playing like a tilted monkey and even worse for refusing to stop.

uh. the money doesn't bother me, tbh it's more about the dent in the graph and the reduced wr when i look at pt, if i had just lost the 5buyins to just beats/coolers I wouldn't have cared that much tbh, but the fact that i just lit the $$$ on fire is what pisses me off.

i've never had a problem with tilt before so i don't know why i'm losing so much to it all of a suddenly, pretty sure i said this earlier in the thread but it's definite for now, that's the last time that's gonna happed, I'm gonna at least take a break when i start playing so poorly.

anyway, looking at my stats I made about 4k for the month, I'm a bit disappointed really, it should be a lot more.

I think, just playing solid nothing spectacular, i can beat 200nl for about 6.5/100, of course that's without tilt/me playing suboptimally, which is what killed me this month.

so the goal for january is 10k incl rb.

I made 2.5k one of the weeks this month just by solid grinding and running at expectation, so i'm gonna try really hard this month to play good focused poker, (and improve a ton in loads of areas) for about 35+k hands at about 6/7bbs. certainly if i don't win at least 6/7k I'll be pissed.
  37. #37
Played 1k hands at 10bb/100 for $460 profit.

I think i could have made more though, I made a few mistakes.

This guy was really weird, and when he donks, and then 3bets it's a set a lot, i think i could have just called the 47 more and i can play perfectly on the turn, he was a complete idiot and defo would have stacked off on a , dunno if i would have stacked off with a q though,

Well I'm getting lots of hands in, but the first couple of days were pretty disappointing, I was up a buyin after 10k, then this weekend I went on a little heater making about 2k with rb in two days.

tonight i went backwards a little, down about 500, few annoying hands set into higher set (about the 6th time this month, it's only gone the other way once; boo urns), kk in 3bet pot losing to a fd in on the flop, there was some other one for a stack too but i can't remember what, any way, enough of that.

so I'm up about 2000 i think so far this month, a lot of work to do, but i think i'm improving a bit so at least some progress is being made. getting a better feel for good spots for cr bluffs/river cr, just loads of bluffs in general, i play far too straight forward atm, something i need to work on.

I bought 3 $50 6max stt tokens today using vip points on the site i play on, won two and finished second in the third for a profit of $390, I sat down to play cash but it's fairly late here and the games looked awful, so I'm just gonna leave it at that and go watch lost.

dunno I've never seen it, she's great tho!

I'm just really annoyed at myself, just can't motivate myself to get any hands in. from thurs to today I've played ten hours of poker, the only thing saving me is that my mt ratio is pretty high.

a few months ago I was a machine at getting hands in, now I find it hard to play more than an hour or two.

the good news is I'm really happy with how I'm playing. this is a grpah since thurs, weird thing is I'm actually losing money with kk/aa so far this month, and yet my wr is really good, normally those two hands are almost all my profit.

  46. #46
While I say I'm happy with how I'm playing, I still don't think I've very good at poker, I certainly don't deserve to be winning much at 200nl, really I'm afraid I'm just running really good and I'm just b/e or something.

I'm not in anyway a tricky or tough opponent, I just give up on hands far too easily, foldfoldfold, that's me. The only things going good for me is that I table select really really really well, despite playing around 10 tables I'm super nitty about it, I prob value bet thinner than the vast majority of people i play, and I'm pretty solid. but really i'm just a nit, if i raise just fold.

idk, but i don't try to win pots at all, it's just, oh, i didn't hit my set, i fold. I have the br to play 400nl, but i really don't think i should. i'm not in any way a thinking player. like i am running at 6+bb/100 the last few weeks, but i'm probably just running good.

idk. there's an ipoker regs thread in ssnl atm, it'll be interesting to see what people say.

just annoyed at myself for being such a straightforward tag.

    Sick, sick, dual monitor setup.

That is something I've been thinking about the past couple of days (yes, even live tourney donks think about how they can improve ).

Two of the last three deepstack events I've played, I've chopped for decent scores. But in both events I have more plodded my way through the fields than gone after people and tore the event up. I guess I'd be viewed as a solid player who doesn't make mistakes or give away easy chips rather than a genuinely dangerous opponent who you don't wish to have on your table.

When I played the 1k event in the SE last November Dave Callaghan was on my starting table and intentionally played pots against me in position. And I got pwned so hard. Since then it is something that has been in the back of my mind - how to move from being 'solid' to 'tough'.

But then again, how neccesary is it to be a tough player that other people are afraid of?

At the end of the day, is there anything wrong with concentrating on taking money off the players who are technically incompetent and unwilling to learn? Because there will be plenty of them at 1 / 2 and below online; in the live environment. I don't think there is anything fundamentally dishonest or dishonourable about being above average but not great. I'd prefer to have some wacky natural Phil Ivey type instinct for the game and win ALL the monies, sure. But maybe there is nothing wrong with accepting that your talent may be limited to some extent - and that the best you can do make less errors than the opposition rather than outplaying them? I dunno. I guess I'm undecided on the whole thing.

I would definitely say not move up to 2 / 4 until you are WAY, WAY, WAY overrolled for it and demonstrating an abillity to stick in a whole lot more hours than you are managing currently. Remember that Hector still plays 1 / 2 and he's probably better than you.

Lastly, I'll download that album you linked tonight and give it a listen. I'm coming around to the idea of free music.

I just had the best 40mins of poker evar.

Started off with this, my first hand of the day:

    $1/$2 No Limit Holdem
    5 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($29.20)
    CO ($178.15)
    BTN ($354.15)
    SB ($210.55)
    Hero ($200.00)

    Pre-flop: ($3, 5 players) Hero is BB
2 folds, BTN calls $2, SB calls $1, Hero checks

    Flop: ($6, 3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5, BTN calls $5, SB raises to $27, Hero raises to $80, BTN folds, SB goes all-in $181.55, Hero goes all-in $118

    Turn: ($417.55, 2 players)

    River: ($417.55, 2 players)

    Final Pot: $414.55
    SB shows:
    Hero shows:

    SB wins $10.55 ( lost -$200 )
    Hero wins $404 ( won +$204 )
    BTN lost -$7.00

before i played I ran a quick scan of 400nl with eyepoker just out of curiosity, the games looked really bad, but i spoted a fish with a huge stack so I added myself to the waiting list and forgot about it.

about 20mins later I played this hand:

    $2/$4 No Limit Holdem
    6 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($1044.79)
    UTG+1 ($414.20)
    CO ($475.60)
    BTN ($432.40)
    SB ($515.00)
    Hero ($400.00)

    Pre-flop: ($6, 6 players) Hero is BB
2 folds, CO raises to $12, 2 folds, Hero raises to $36, CO raises to $80, Hero raises to $242, CO goes all-in $395.6, Hero goes all-in $158

    Flop: ($877.6, 2 players)

    Final Pot: $874.60
    Hero shows:
    CO shows:

    Hero wins $799 ( won +$399 )
    CO wins $75.6 ( lost -$400 )

lololol, my first ever hand at 2/4, how sick is that! it actually took me a sec to work out my i had minraised pre...

I then played this hand vs the fish:

    $2/$4 No Limit Holdem
    6 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($533.70)
    Hero ($779.00)
    CO ($1006.19)
    BTN ($423.00)
    SB ($414.00)
    BB ($432.40)

    Pre-flop: ($6, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1
1 fold, Hero raises to $12, CO calls $12, 3 folds

    Flop: ($30, 2 players)
Hero bets $24, CO raises to $48, Hero raises to $126, CO calls $78

    Turn: ($282, 2 players)
Hero bets $200, CO calls $200

    River: ($682, 2 players)
Hero bets $441, CO calls $441

    Final Pot: $1561.00

so i finished up $1.3k for about 40mins of play. so sweeeeeet!

I don't think it's instint, it's more just hard work. when was the last time you sat down with pokerstove, took some hand ranges and did a some ev calculations? I barely look at pt anymore, other than to see how much I've won, which is pretty bad. once I get this job thing finished I'm gonna work my ass studying the game (it's gonna help that I'm gonna feel like I've a ton of time on my hands as I'm so busy atm) cause i think now i actually have some level of talent for the game, and there's loads of money to be made, but i'm not gonna progress very far by reading the bb sticky on boards. have to put some work in. i've spent the last year learning how to play solid, time for the next stage!

I would definitely say not move up to 2 / 4 until you are WAY, WAY, WAY overrolled for it and demonstrating an abillity to stick in a whole lot more hours than you are managing currently.

bit of a recovery today. might take a break and play some more idk.

I'm playing 8-12 tables pretty easily atm, and that's with only two of the monitors, I had to send one of them back for replacement, can't wait to have all three on the go, gonna be sick!

slick setup was definitely worth getting.

Just played 1600 hands for $500ish, very annoying session, got v unlucky in a couple of big pots, but i thought I played quite well which is the main thing i guess.

I played 5/10 for the first time ever! I was scanning 400nl with eyepoker just to see if there was any interesting tables, noticed that my known % level was very high, especially since i haven't mined it much, and i scanned the other levels out of curiosity. I spotted two big fish at at a 5/10 table, so i added my name to the waiting list and jumped in.

First hand i get aks on the bb and 3bet an utg raise and he folds.then one of the fish lost a decent amount of stack and about an orbit later I played this hand

    $5/$10 No Limit Holdem
    6 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($1750.65)
    Hero ($1037.00)
    CO ($1235.00)
    BTN ($1117.00)
    SB ($741.55)
    BB ($240.00)

    Pre-flop: ($15, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1
1 fold, Hero raises to $35, 3 folds, BB calls $25

    Flop: ($75, 2 players)
    BB checks, Hero checks

    Turn: ($75, 2 players)
BB bets $40, Hero calls $40

    River: ($155, 2 players)
    BB goes all-in $165, Hero calls $165

    Final Pot: $482.00
    BB shows:
    Hero shows:

    Hero wins $482 ( won +$242 )
    BB lost -$240.00

he reloaded for $800, but i chickened out and left, I'm such a nit

I also played some 400nl, again cause there was a terrible player 300bbs deep, unfortunately he rivered me in two big pots and I finished about $250 down.

In other news I managed to get involved in a grudge match with some live donks,

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showt...p?t=2055240660

basically it sparked off from this thread ( http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showt...p?t=2055239467 ) , it's pretty long, so cliff notes:

i don't expect anything to actually go ahead, but if it does we should have a HUGE edge and win some monies.

Pretty happy with how things are going pokerwise.

I moved some of my roll over to prima do a bonus there, it's a €2k deposit bonus that shouldn't take more than two weeks to complete. I played 400ish hands on the site tonight for a profit of €500, about $750 dollars.
There was only about three games running so I also played also played on ipoker and picked up $250 there over about 1k hands. So a good day considering how little time i put in.
  56. #56
put in a mixture of different games today across ipoker and prima, doesn't seem to be many games running so i find it tough to find more than 2/3 good tables. I finished up a buyin after a couple of hundred hands, i ran jj into qq in a blind vs button hand against a very aggro player, meh.

also ran kk into what I suspect was prob aa, even if it wasn't aa it was ak/qq.

I ran into two sets in 3bet pots on ipoker, so only finished up a buyin there over about 1k hands too.

Really excited about poker atm, i finish up in about 3weeks in my job and then I can really dedicate myself to it. Playing really well atm, w$wsf flop is all the way up to 47% as opposed to the 37% i used to be when i started this thread, and I'm actually 2bb/100 in non showdown pots, so i think i'm playing far better postflop.

I signed up to leggo poker last night, been meaning to do it for ages, the fact that they're about to increase their prices on friday pushed me to do it lol, really looking forward to watching their videos as they have loads of really good coachs on it.

I've only watched one of aejones' videos so far but it was really good, far better than the sbrugby videos i watched on cr. guess i'll stop shilling now!

I've played very little this month, jsut wasn't in the mood really.

Just back in the last couple of days and doing well, the break+some thinking about the game means I'm playing far better.

Running at about 10bbs/100, and my W$WF is up at about 47%. Tonights session I was over the 50% mark with an mt ratio of nearly 10! When I started this thread it was about 37%.

I'm finishing up my job next week, can't wait, gonna start playing some more 400nl and probably start a new operation thread.

last hand was kk into aa 200bbs deep. ugh.

although, on reflection looking through the session I made a good few mistakes and spewy plays, really just over compensating for the increased aggression I guess.
