Default Operation: Clear my Bonus in 4 days...

This is gonna be a short post I'll either have suceeded or failed come Sunday. So this will be in effect a low limit Blog. Cheapskate that I am I saw a free no deposit bonus of $50 dollars on PartyPoker from a website which I'm no allowed to URL here, it comes with a $100 dollar bonus which I have to clear (5K hands)and because I love having goals and having a quantifiable challenge I thought screw the 90days they gave me, so I'm gonna have it done by Sunday (because its back to school then and I'm gonna be to tired, busy or drunk to play poker for about a month) . I'll try and post Hand historys and such, but mostly I just like writing so by all means read it, reply to it, comment on it even flame it (after all I'm here to learn).

    The story so far...
    (.1/.2 LHE)
M -6days: I got in ~1K hands massive upswing ~14BB/100 managed to find a bunch (3) of wussy tables average VPIP of like 12% so I ran over them like a drunk driver at a school crossing. These tables were the result of my "different aproach to strategy" post because quite frankly I was stunned that someone could call 3 bets pre-flop and then fold to a double barrelled continuation bet. These tables were also the cause of my largely inflated BB/100, because I was able to get one or two callers pre-flop to my raises who would then fold if they didn't hit TPTK or better needless to say I stole a massive number of pots just by raising when folded to with any 2 cards and then c-betting the flop and turn. Truly Crazy.

M-5days (ie. yesterday): Couldn't find those Weak tables anywhere, back to boring TAG. Got another .5K hands, during which I learned one thing pocket Jacks suck and yet I have to play them because of Mathematics, I have a lot of hate for Sklanksy right now... You have to put lots of money in pre-flop (I am willing to 3bet it at lower limits) and every time got it the hand went something like this.

Bloemen shows [ Qd, Ah ]a straight Ten to Ace.
TheSinK_ doesn't show [ Jc, Js ]three of a kind, Jacks.
Bloemen wins $3.09 USD from the main pot with a straight, Ten to Ace.

Two questions; with this many people should I have tried to check-raise the flop to push out draws? And should I have put him on hitting his four outer on the turn when he raises? In a low limit game how wide is his range? Should I have just called the turn instead of three betting it? I think I made the right move personally after all the only hand that filled was the 10-A straight and the only other hand he could conceivably have is KK which he would have raised. But that wasn't my point point was I got JJ 12 times and it lost 8, 5 times after hitting a set (warning: numbers are guesstimates and may or may not be completely inaccurate). In my opinion the hand sort of played itself.
P.S. I also don't like AJ, even in position. I actually prefer A-rag becasue its obvious I shuld fold. Any thoughts?

    Wednesday M-4days (today):
    BR:$74 Hands to Go: 3,606

Will play and post later today.

Bonus Query: What does Sklansky say about JJ and AJ pre-flop?

I wouldn't c/r the flop. An OESD or FD is not going to fold. You're c/r is probably only going to chase out weaker draws, and you want those guys to stay in! It sucks that he hit his gutshot against you, but that is the kind of play you love to see, since it makes you money in the long run!

On the turn, I would figure I'm probably behind. But you've got odds to draw to the FH, so I would call. And on the river, I would probably make a crying call due to the pot odds. He could be betting two pair.

JJ: Sklansky says playing against 3-4 opponents sucks. You want more like 5 opponents for set value or 1-2 opponents to give your JJ a better chance of holding up. With JJ, you goal is to get one or the other1-2 opponents or, 5+ opponents. Which means only limping/calling in loose games to entice 5+ limpers (a raise will probably only narrow the field to 3 opponents). And raising in tight games to get down to 1-2 opponents. (where limping/calling will probably only entice 3-4 opponents to call).

AJ: Cant remember exactly what Sklansky says, but AJ can be tough to play. Especially out of position. With AJo I usually dump it from EP. From middle position I usually limp in and see if any strength comes from behind me. Raise it from late position. Proceed with caution on the flop if you encounter any resistance.

Oh dear, I just played about 500 hands and didn't do so well.
In those hands I dropped $10, count 'em, yes that's a whopping -50BB. Well, that knocked me down to size. I was however able to see why this was, after the super tight games of yesterdsy I was adapting poorly to the looser tables. I toned it down a lot, tightened up my pre-flop game. But, I was still thinking I could fold my opponents on later streets, silly me. I was getting called down with A-high and Bottom Pair Shite Kicker (BPSK?). And my c-bets were failing, then I tilted. Not bad tilt but I opened up my starting hands and started raisng any 2 from MP when Folded to, the stuff I did at the 15%VPIP tables. That was a mistake, and so I re-assessed the tight-agressive style and you can now consider me a Nut-Peddlar till I get back on track.
    So:
    1.Pre-flop. Re-Raise AA,KK,QQ,JJ, AK,AQ. Raise AJs, A10s. (A-xs in position)
limp(something I hate to do) with PP's,and SCs higher than 87s.
2.Flop. C-bet when I have the initiative. Raise TPTK or better. Value bet Middle pair.
3.Let go if you've not nothing and your not heads up! If checked to c-bet if OOP with nothing check. Value bet all pairs. Don't be draws. Rely on pot odds.
4.If you've come this far check-call all weak hands. Bet all strong hands. Fold only hands that connot beat a bluff.

I will aim to get another 1K hands in after I've had something to eat. Try and find some HHs too.

BTW this brings my winrate down to ~2.45BB/100hands that put me in my place.
