You want z / pot + z + stack(effective) -z > villians equity

or z > villians equity * (pot + z + stack(effective) - z)
z > villians equity * (pot + stack(effective))

So with numbers from your first example

z > .22727 * (45.5 + 38.84)
z > 19.16
