An excellent day today.

I got up to buy live seafood in preparation of mother's day, and went back home and donked off $250 at 200PLO to the sunday fish. I have a poor lifetime record on sundays. I think I get frustrated when I see fish raising shit and their random garbage hits big hands. I need to remember that this isn't holdem and even garbage hands win a large amount of the time.

Settled down and played some PLO8 at full tilt instead. Ground out 75.50 over 333 hands. But it settled me down.

Went to cook the seafood and celebrate mother's day (LOVE U MUM!!!) Had a couple of glasses of excellent wine.

In a much better mood, I was back to party to carve up the fish. And I did well enough to reverse my earlier loss and sign off with the day's total profit standing at $1105.

Operation stats at 20826 hands, 24.46 VPIP for $13535
Another 1962 hands at full tilt for $2.10 + a little rakeback. Am I just running bad or are the games MUCH harder? I think both.

A happy note. I think I've finally managed to take a foothold on 400 PLO now. 2475 hands for +$4899. I'm running good, to be sure. But now I've got my record to sit on, I'll be able to play 400PLO and not be playing with scared money. We all know the hardest part about moving up is that initial confidence hurdle, and I've now overcome it.
