I don't think small sample size is so much of a problem at lower stakes. The loose fish will make themselves known quickly, these are your primary targets. Make plenty of notes, people are generally not adjusting (or adjusting badly) at 2nl so will play similar spots in a similar fashion.
As a general rule of thumb, don't bluff because people at 2nl aren't folding as much as we would like. Semibluffs are different because we can reasonably often stack fish who feel pot committed on later streets, but stone cold bluffs are very unlikely to show a long term profit at low stakes.
Good luck! I think you'll succeed, you are approaching it right and your language suggests you're calm and thoughtful, which puts you ahead of the vast majority of the pool at these stakes.
