    I finished HoH 1, got straight in to #2. Solid read so far. I know what I want to do next when #3 is finished.

    Been playing a few MTTs, no cashes yet but happy with my play. Just need to put more volume in so the variance will even out.

    Note to self: if villain checks to you on a scary river card you can safely go for thin value, he almost never has a straight/flush at this point.

    The cruel thing about MTTs is the variance never evens out.

    I'm mixing in some 90s, 180s, 360s and various caps amongst the 5k+ ones. Still, a scary thought...

    This really depends on your definition of "thin value" I would say.

    I agree that if they are checking a scary straight/flush card on the river they probably don't have those hands. So they don't have the nuts, but they can be checking overpairs/two pairs/sets that are scared of the river.

    So becareful not to value-town yourself. I'm good at value-towning myself
