re: last hand... definitely flatting the flop is better than raising. Since you have KK on a KJx flop, your opponent is going to need JJ/AK/AA/draw to call a shove. He is probably jamming the turn anyways with draws that call your flop raise, and he will have more weak draws/semibluffs in his turn shoving range than his flop bet/calling range. Plus by flatting the flop you give him the opportunity to continue bluffing -- albeit bluffs make up a small % of his total turn barrel range.
as your equity calcs demonstrate, even though the flush came in on the turn you should certainly still call his shove. It's possible he could be shoving with AcQx or similar hands so I think your equity vs his range is even better than 50%.
