about since i could walk. been plenty of good places. Some of my more interesting trips have been soloing little mountains in the Cordon del Plata in the Argentinian Andes, big transalpine trips ith solid crew in the New Zealand southern alps, a 40 day autumn/winter hermit trip from the atlantic to the med through the pyrennees - no phone, no etc, good writing/thinking/exploration of self time back in 2003, um, others, plenty.
