Default Get a bit better and make a bit of money

Reason for me starting a blog is that I am moving out this year, and money is going to be tight and I am going to have a lot more free time living so close to my uni, so hopefully I can play a shit load of poker and make a bit of money at the same time. So thought documenting the process might help me achieve it.

Started with $10 on stars with HEM, and am going to grind $2NL 9Max until I reach $100/$125 and then move up to $5NL 9Max. Am working like six days a week until I move in mid sept so I probably wont be able to put in much volume until then, maybe like 1k hands a week .

    What a disgustingly realistic operation.

So far i've played 2400 hands and made $6.50, my stats have been 13/10 which I am cool with at the moment. I think i've been playing alright, so I'm just going to keep this going. I am working 7 days a week at the minute trying to get all the money I can before uni, so when I do have spare time I want to be playing not studying, but I need to find a balance somewhere between the two.

I would post biggest winner and loser but i'll have to do that in the next post as I cant post the url crap, whatever that means. I aint playing tonight going drink beer and watch prison break

Still going along at a nice slow pace, played 5598 hands and up $23.66, which now takes my bankroll to $33.55 (I lost 11 cents somewhere apparently). Hopefully my bankroll is heathly enough now to minimize chance of going busto, I knew until I reached $30 there was a fair chance of going busto if I ran bad or played bad but luckily I'm still here with a BR. I am going to keep going at $2NL 9Max and I am not going to play any other games until I reach $100.

how many tables are you playing?

55 hand - flop sets, get paid. Nice work. Except that you should have folded preflop.
TT hand - nice hand sir
QQ hand - good if you have reads, if villain is nit then JJ is the absolute bottom of his range though

AA hand - nh sir. Can't argue with getting it in pre with aces
KK hand - turn is closer than you think, again depending on stats/reads, then again 2:1 on the call and it would have to be a pretty solid nit-read
QQ hand - ok, if his range is KK+/AK then this is an ok spot to fold pre.

AA hand, again, aces in pre nh. Consider not playing deep if your roll is tight for the stakes.

    6 tables at the moment.
In the 55 hand how come I should of folded preflop? It is because they werent full stacks so even if I hit my set I aint going to get paid off fully?
I'll start posting reads with the hands I post from now one don't know why I didnt tbh.

Well, two reasons. The one you mentioned, and possibility of getting squeezed makes your hand pretty much dead money. Though I personally don't mind calling it multiway in these stakes. If you hit it you are destined to get paid by at least one fish.
